Enhancement of Skills and Competence

The PCD has over the last years rapidly built up the skills in different areas. The number of staff is also expanding rapidly.
The co-operation with other agencies in the area of environmental protection is increasing. The basic idea is to distribute PCD's information to other agencies with a need for environmentally related information. At the same time the PCD can receive other types of information back from the co-operation agencies. This will have a significant synergetic effect on the general knowledge base in the area of environmental protection. The reduction in costs will also be large since duplication of work will be reduced. |
